Fried Apples
Cooking apples are best
 

6 cooking apples
3     slices bacon
1/2  teaspoon Cinnamon
3/4  cup sugar
1/2 cup water in skillet
 

       Wash, core, and unpeel apples, slice apples, fry bacon in pan than remove bacon, add
apples to bacon drippings. Cook until soft, stir in Cinnamon, Sugar, and water. Cook until
water is absorbed.
 
 
 
 

Collard Greens

2 pound collard greens
1    onion
1      red pepper
2     tablespoon butter
 1     smoke turkey wing
1     teaspoon salt
1     teaspoon pepper
2     quart water
 

         Wash collards in cold water, remove all stems and sand, roll  and cut collards, onion,
red pepper, in bite size pieces. Place butter, onion, red pepper in large pot cook until tender,
add 1 quart water, turkey wings cover until water boils, add greens, cover, cook until tender.
